My friend Tacy and I decided we wanted to visit the Uintas. So, we did. We left Saturday afternoon and planned on swimming, hiking, camping, and enjoying those amazing mountains. Then it started raining and we took the camping part out. Bummer. It was still a great trip and well worth the drive. (Also, if you ever have a chance to go on a road trip with Tacy, you should- she's an excellent co-pilot/navigator/
conversationalist/sunflower-seed-eater/adventurer/photographer/
mosquito-evader. In short, she's the best ever.)
#49- Swim in a lake
I think we hiked to about five different lakes that day, but this one was the winner. It was beautiful and completely freezing. (Looking back, the small glacier pictured above probably should have tipped me off to how cold the lake was going to be.)
